Brooklyn Heights Apartment
PPA reconfigured this one-bedroom apartment in a classic 1924 building for a newlywed couple putting down roots in this historic Brooklyn neighborhood. With a priority on entertaining, the kitchen was expanded to create an open space for cooking, dining and socializing. The layout was updated to incorporate extra space for an entry closet, pantry, home office nook, and an additional half bedroom for overnight guests. Traditional details were restored and enhanced to ground the space in its storied location, while new finishes were layered in to complete this new home for this growing family.
